That took far more work than I thought it would. Wow.

You know how I do things by now. If it exists and I like it, I will picspam it while I am bored and cannot sleep. It's been so long since I've been excited about a game; not since Super Smash Bros, I think! This is a momentous occasion!

I really liked Parks & Recreation's debut. Upon a second viewing, I've decided that I love it. It's very charming, and funny. Haters to the left, I'm going to enjoy this!

Okay, so, I wrestled with watching BOLT for a long time for many reasons. And finally managed to watch it tonight.
I liked it a fair bit. Even though it was typical Disney formula, typical CG formula, it was good. Human designs were not that good, though. And I wanted to throttle Rhino, lol (I must be the only person who thinks so) (Oh and Miley Cyrus totally killed some enjoyment here.)

And the following is from an animation nerd-student standpoint!

Bolt's designs were in between - I really loved the design of Bolt himself, and Mittens to some degree. But mostly Bolt, he's got some great animation in him.
But I still feel like they look better this way:


The environments, however, were fantastic. I found I kept getting floored by some shots. They ranged from pretty, sterile, nostalgic, or downright gritty. Loved it. The lighting was beautiful too.

Bought more books today! Finally got Art of The Incredibles which I've been eyeing for many years now. And that Looney Tunes book I was talking about earlier because it was just too charming not to buy. Oh, and a neat little mario mushroom keychain that turns into a mirror.

WHY CAN'T THE LABYRINTH BE HERE ALL THE TIME? D: I love it so much. Best store ever. Check it out if you're ever in Toronto.
